Essential Oils for Emotional Balance

This is a quick go-to for those moments when you are dealing with emotional overload and you. JUST. WANT. A. BREAK.

I highly recommend you have these oils in your stockpile ALWAYS. I have a backup ready to go and when I open it I immediately go put it into my next order. They are that good. Plus, they all have multiple uses in addition to the emotional components listed here. In fact, a few of these appear in our 10 OILS ebook (you don’t have that one? go here ASAP).

As with all essential oil usage - the fastest method is to inhale directly from the bottle. BAM! Right into the olfactory tract and up into the limbic system. However, it’s a bit awkward walking around with 15ml bottles clanking around in your purse, so here are few options:

With the following oils, I have listed the negative emotions & the positive properties for each. You can find a negative emotion you are currently experiencing OR a positive property you would like to embody. For example, you might choose Cypress because you are feeling extremely fearful OR because you want to feel more trusting.

Bergamot  Negative - despairing, low self-esteem, self-judgment, unlovable, hopeless

Positive - self-acceptance, optimistic, confident, hopeful, lovable, good enough

Side benefit: put a drop of this oil and Black Spruce on a tissue and tuck inside your pillowcase - fall asleep quickly.

*This is citrus oil. Do not apply on skin that will be exposed to sunlight, as it can make the skin light sensitive and may cause a burn.

Black Spruce  Negative: unstable, depleted, fearful, exhausted

Positive: stable, resolute, grounded, enduring, balanced

Side benefit: anytime you are feeling emotionally splintered, put a drop of this across your forehead.

Cassia  Negative: embarrassed, hiding, fearful, humiliated, insecure, judged, shy, worthless
